i can't escape the Contrarian ranks: 17 Mach II, 6mm Rem, 280 Rem, 300RSAUM, 444 MARLIN

if i had to roll with just one it would be a 180 grain bullet of 30 caliber in a 308 Winchester... which I have never owned...

More 30's than anything else but 223, 257, 270, and 375 as fashion statements.

I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all.

.264, which is probably why I have none of them, because I'd hate to ruin the romance of fantasy in comparison to all I do have.

More in some cartridge of .308 diameter than anything else, but favorite, other than aforementioned, is .284.

I prefer the 6.5s. I have a 260, 6.5x55, 6.5x55 AI and a 6.5 Grendel I just built I'm working on some loads for.

the only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker, is observation. all the same data is present for both. The rest, is understanding what you're seeing.

I was a fan of 7mm cartridges since elementary school. Even made my forum name a play on 7mm cartridges. But I don't currently own a single rifle in 7mm, and the 6.5's are looking better all the time as they keep coming out with new bullets.

I have favorites. If just one, 338 in the 338 Winchester cartridge.
375 in 375 Ruger and H&H cartridges.
416 in 416 Ruger and Remington cartridges.
8mm in 325 WSM.
7mm in 7mm Remington and 7 WSM
30 caliber in 308 Winchester in an AR platform.
223 and 5.56x45
Those pretty much are my top favorites.

I have multiple rifles in all of the above, but I’m a 7 mm shooter. I have a 7mm 08, several 7 mags and a 7mm ultra mag. If I could have only one caliber, it would be 7 mm.

Anything less than .308 caliber says MKV on it.

I don't see anything looming on this side of the pond(s) for me, that can't be done with a 30-30, 308, or .30-06. Just in case I have several smaller and one larger cartridge on hand.

Pragmatically: .308

But I love .264, 338, and 358...

For no good reason...
