Will that caliber cartridge suffice a novice hunter for the gathering of lagomorph flesh for the making of a beautiful pot of hasenpfeffer?  Inquiring (enquiring??) minds wish to know. Geno PS, this may or may not be a formal inquiry, I may just be enquiring to satisfy myself. No,for acquiring lagomorph flesh for hasenpfeffer,nothing smaller than .375 H&H is suitable. I scored that a 9.9 for creativity. 10 for timing. Couldn't find the cartridges for my .416 caliber rifle.

Just did, numb khount: The .950 JDJ is the only known cartridge beyond 70 caliber used in a rifle. Referring to artillery, "caliber" is used to describe the barrel length as multiples of the bore diameter. A "5-inch 50 calibre" gun has a bore diameter of 5 in (12.7 cm) and a barrel length of 50 times 5 in = 250 in (6.35 m).
