Winchester m70 classic featherweight. 30-06. This is a "classic" made in the NEW HAVEN factory. It is CRF. I would post more pics if the campfire wasn't such a pain to post pics on. Rifle is in great condition. The bluing is excellent and the rifle is as close to new as a gun that has been used can be. I have a better eye than most and it only has a very few dings on the stock and the finish is 99.99%. Along with the factory walnut stock also included is a bell & carlson fiberglass stock NOT A PLASTIC "synthetic" stock. While the bell & carlson is hardly a McMillan or Manners is better than any plastic stock I have ever seen. Both stocks have bedding in the lug area. Talley lightweight mounts that have been lapped. Scope is a 4-14x40 Redfield revolution (USA made by leupold). I can shoot 3-shot groups under an inch with ease using cheap 150gr factory loaded hunting ammo. The previous owner purchased the gun new in the 90's. Thanks for the post realralfy.
I added two pics and answered some questions I have received in the original post at the top. This is a great rifle and I can assure you nothing in new on the shelf today under $1K is even close. I have too many traditional style hunting rifles and I'm moving towards shooting suppressed full time and these great guns don't have enough meat on the barrel to get them threaded.
