I just saw these on Ruger's website:
-30/30 K1A 22"stainless/wood -257 Roberts RSI K1 18.5"stainless/wood -6.5CM 1V 24" blue/wood (this was not marked new, but it was at the end of the page)

That Bob might be cool....
Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.

The one in the web photo sure looks nice!!!! this one is has a bit too light color wood but of course, you don't get the ONE in the web photo.... so we could end up with almost any 2x4 for a stock.... I don't yet have a K1..... if one of those was 6.5x55 or 7x57 I'da emailed my dealer friend moments after seeing it..... and as I've previously mentioned.... i still want a No1S in 8x57! good... I won't have to commit any firearms-related-violence against my bank account just yet..... Poole

I'm down for one of the 30/30 K1A 22"stainless/wood if the wood looks that good!

Also, I saw a Shot Show video where a #1AH in 6.5 Creedmoor (lightweight 24" barrel, and 6.8 pounds) will be available.
I still have a K1A .257 Roberts, but the new RSI is tempting. I'd like one with the darker wood too.

I DO love the 24" AH's, but I just don't see myself buying a Creedmoor...you never know though, if I come across one with the right wood, it could change my mind.
I seriously dislike stainless with walnut! Never liked 'em and never will! I do however have a couple stainless with the laminate stocks and find them to be rather nice.
Fortunately I was able to find a blue/circassian walnut 30-30 when they were offered several years ago.

I'm down for one of the 30/30 K1A 22"stainless/wood if the wood looks that good! That has my eye. Listing with a 1-10" twist. It'd be somewhat tempting to have a 'smith drop a Krag reamer in it. Tom

There was a run of .30-40 #1's for Cabelas about 7 years ago. Mine is not for sale, but I know where another one is for sale.

FYI - the 30-30 in Lipsey’s Booth didn’t have wood close to the wood in the picture they released! It wasn’t a 2x4, but sent ghy figured either.

Ruger no1s have ways been 975 dollars at Jays sporting goods In Gaylord MI. Even last year they we're.
I just stopped in there recently now every new no1 is priced 1499?
Seems crazy to me. But they still have one old stock 375h&h left, For 975. Makes it tempting.

There are similar bargains to be found here and there, mostly for medium bore rounds. I'd like a 9.3x74, but who am I kidding? Africa ain't in the cards, and I've got three other singles to play with.
What fresh Hell is this?

I'm digging the stainless 30-30. Have they hit shelves yet?
