It looks like winchester will finally be chambering their rifle for this cartridge. I know there be some happy campers knowing this, as people have been waiting.
Are there any other introductions from SHOT show you guys are excited about?
If ww could just get Winchester to make left handed model 70s again they would have all of my business!

Now if they’ll do the 6.5 PRC, too.
What could be a sadder way to end a life than to die having never hunted with great dogs, good friends and your family?

An EW in 6.5 CM might be pretty cool...

I’ve been watching all the live feeds on Facebook from manufacturers at the shot show and out of them all I personally feel this is going to be a Big year for Marlin with their lever guns! They have some nice rifles in .357mag coming out in stainless versions and also a 45-70. Plus, a threaded barrel model. Really cool models and it looks like their quality control has been on the Up & Up! Way to go Marlin!

From what I see they still won’t chamber a M70 in the 6.5 but, by all means, I’m glad they’re keeping the hot selling 325 WSM in the line up!

It's official. I missed the selfie deadline so I'm Maser's sock puppet because rene and the Polish half of the fubar twins have decided that I am.

Well... I’ll be. I should have read the print! I just scrolled down to the drop down menu of offerings where it wasn’t listed. I mean... who would bother to read the top few lines, right?

Wow, you must be joking. Keeping the 325 WSM, but not offering a 6.5 Creedmoor is completely absurd in my opinion!

Speaking of lightning fast responses to not so subtle market demands. It also looks like they brought back a few different SS M70s including the SS Featherweight . That's been kind of a Grail gun for me since I missed the last opportunity to buy one in, what like 2009? A SS M70 in Creed would be an awesomely slick deer rifle.

in a bolt what can a 6.6 cm do that a 260 can't
Well we're Green and we're Gold, and we play better when it's cold. All us Cheese heads have our favorite superstar. We love Brett Favre.

The marlins do look great! All besides that super tactical one. Looks a bit ridiculous.

I buy a featherweight in a 6.5 cm
Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

in a bolt what can a 6.6 cm do that a 260 can't Have far, far better market support (including actually being offered in the M70), and running long, dangly, high BC bullets closer to the lands, even out of the stumpy M70 short action magazine. It all depends on how you look at it, the 6.5 CM has tons of market support now, everyone makes great ammo, cases and rifles. The .260... not so much, there are Lapua cases so there is that. From where I'm coming from, already having a hunting 6.5 CM, and a long range 6.5 CM, the question is "What can a .260 do in a bolt that a 6.5 CM can't?" and the answer to that is: Absolutely nothing of value.

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

If ww could just get Winchester to make left handed model 70s again they would have all of my business! And if they'd ditch that pos MOA trigger and bring back a nicely refined NH trigger, even I would be interested...
