Well,
The vikings have saved us from the the fate of being the first 5 time super bowl looser. I thank them for that++++

But hey they beat the Packers twice so all is not lost.

Same...the guy I was watching it with was pissy as hell. F-bombing the tv. lol A little too serious for what we knew would probably be the outcome.

Somewhere in the area of 13" here. It was heavy but the snow blower worked well and never bogged down.

When I moved back to MN I bought a commercial grade JD 10/28. Not much plastic on that sucker. Bigger gear box, hand warmers, power auger, big ass light on the front. That sob will throw snow 50’ easy. It laughs at theses snowfalls. If I didn’t have that, I’d be Florida already.

Touche'! Game, set, and match! Not a good year for the Green and Gold. Exposed some serious weaknesses, like every position but quarterback. eek

However, part of me is sort of bummed that the Vikes didn't get to the big show. I was looking forward to seeing Tzone's picture of his brush with greatness - that being the pic of him and that blonde Nordic Goddess in the Vikings jersey. My people, Norwegian and French Canadian, would've been proud. Me? Dare to dream.

WOW!!! I haven't been here since about November and it took me almost an hour to catch up.
RYAN , you had a hell of a year, Congratulations.
Last July my wife bought me a 30" Masterbuilt smoker for my 76th. birthday. It does really great . I have a buddy who hunts feral pigs and he has given me ten this year which I shared with close buddies but still I have three in my freezer. Gene has killed over 350 pigs this year and his Thor ATN records the kills. If you want to see some of his kills go to YOUTUBE and look at "Mailman29680".
I have picked up a few interesting goodies at the gun/pawn shop where I work part time. One is a model 94 Trapper in 30-30(16" barrel). The other is an NEF Handi rifle in 30-06 with a Bushnell banner scope in 3x9x40. Both have proven to be very accurate.
I did not kill a deer this year. I only saw one and it was itty bitty.
Ryan, the 300 Blackout just gets better and better in the accuracy department.I have loaded rounds with bullet weights from 100 grain to 220 grain. The 150 grain do the best.
I gotta go now and take the amazing Miz. Linda out to Sunday dinner.More later.

I am back. Linda and I went out to dinner and then to a movie which I wanted to see ."Hostiles" starring Christian Bale . I will not divulge the plot but if you like a god cavalry/Indians movie with tons of great scenery and some killing then by all means go see it.
I will probably not be here much but will check in from time to time. Most of you know where to find me.

Sounds like something to check out Stan!

The kids and I have been doing a bit of ice fishing near our house. Two Saturdays ago I picked up a 38" northern that was almost 16 pounds. This past saturday Mini man picked up a 34" northern that was just shy of 10 pounds. Both on tip-ups. Jack's was on a hotdog! No, I'm not kidding.

so it's not likely you'd sell the blackout then? frown I should have bought one when I had the chance!

Organizing my ammo closet. Had no idea that I had so much 22lr. I'm also wasting time on the internet.

Inventorying the ammo supply. I had a couple thousand more rnds. of .22 than I realized. I found a box of 25-20. I haven't had a 25-20 for a couple decades now.

So Jeff, how often do they change number for paging at Wal-Mart and how much is it frowned upon to page help to the sporting goods department?

Oh God, we've never had that happen in our store, and I hope it never does. I did hear them calling on the radios for customer assistance in sporting goods. Must have been a gun sale as they were looking for an assistant manager. I used to be able to field those calls, but they changed the vision center managers from salary to hourly about 10 years ago. The only interesting thing I remember is when someone lit off a smoke bomb in womens clothing as a distraction to cover them going out a fire exit with some TV's. That was at another location I worked at a long time ago.
