Have a similar model the VX-R 2-7 with the Firedot 4 reticle ( similar to aGerman #4).
With box and papers, scope cover, less than 20 rounds fired at the range only, mounted on a .375 Winchester Model 70. Less than 6 months old, slight ring marks but tracks true and holds zero.
Excellent scope,just need a little more magnification with these old eyes.

Love both my 2-7s. My favorite. The 3-9 was to heavy and 1.25-4 just didn't give me the light I wanted in the bottoms on afternoon hunts.
