Subtitled, "A Tragic Murder and America's Last Mass Execution".

This small (124 pages) book is an interesting book about the murder of a German POW by other POW's because they believed he was a traitor. This occurred at Papago Park POW Camp in eastern Phoenix. The seven men convicted were subsequently hanged and buried at Leavenworth. The book goes through the incident, the reasons for it, the evidence gathering, trial and subsequent punishment. It does make you wonder, when you really think about it, about the sentence which was carried out after the war was over, on August 24, 25, 1945.
