Love it! That said, the fridge door opening away from the kitchen would drive me bonkers..... Agreed but it looks new enough that you might be able to change the swing.

I love that cabin, would like to have it sitting in the middle of no where beside a stream, the only person I would care about seeing would be my wife. Heck I wouldn't even have to have a TV.
I know a guy, he was married to my cousin once, built his own log cabin back in the 1980's. He can do about anything, wood working, blacksmith, pipe fitter, could fabricate things out of metal that amazed me.

What a nice retreat to get away from the cares of the world, thank you for sharing.

OLSKOOL,
To this "half-fast cowgirl" that looks like a LOVE-NEST, away from everything but your own heartthrob.

rockinbbar,
Actually, Tex (that he & one of his boarding-school chums designed) has a different project in mind. - A 2-story, 22x48 foot "townhouse on a raft"/houseboat, to retire upon & that will be "home ported" near Aransas Pass, TX. (Tex is about half fish & has wanted for years to live on the water.)
He started thinking about/designing the houseboat (years before we met) when he was last stationed overseas with the Army & is now in "the materials gathering stage" for his "big idea". - For example, he's bought a Cummins diesel engine, marine transmission, shaft & propeller for the PRINCESS ETERNAL & has "squirreled-away" the windows/doors & some other needed parts for the boat. (The "raft" under the townhouse will be 28x60 feet. He plans to use solar panels for electrical power, with a small diesel "back-up" generator.)
Sincerely, DarlaG
