I have a 3" GP 100 44 special that I need a holster for. What are you guys using? Extra points for Kydex

I have a DeSantis Thumb Break Scabbard that works very well. It’s actually sized for a 2.5” Python. Model is 001 33. It works great and tucks the gun into the kidney area well.

However...

I’m looking for more of a field holster. My thoughts are for something to wear when I’m cutting wood up north and swinging a saw. I’m almost leaning toward a vertical shoulder holster. Something that I wont be upset if it see abuae...maybe like an Uncle Mikes. I’m worried that a OWB will get caught up on brush and take abuse from the saw.

Thoughts??

No extra points for me but I did just buy one of these for mine. Excellent fit and very comfortable - I like it much better than my Simply Rugged holster.

That Classic is a good looking and very functional rig, Nice that they added a sweat shield that prevent the hammer from digging into your tender vittles.
