Have been trying to do ~50 miles on the bike trainer per week. Have been swimming on Sundays but plan to increase the swimming to 2 or 3 times per week. Also thinking I might get a fat tire bike so I can get the hell out of the house for some bike time.

A high quality bicycle is a beautiful thing. I say do it!
Started in on next winter's firewood today. Only about 90 minutes but, got started, and I can feel it tonight. It's not yet clear to me how exactly it'll play out; some years there's more cutting than splitting, some years the other way. Still walkin' my woods going "hmmm". At 25 years in we've largely accomplished our main goals in terms of clearing and thinning different areas, and at least so far there's no major windfall events that are in reach of my truck... so, hmmm.
The CENTER will hold.

Short treadmill run after bodyweight strength stuff yesterday morning. 60min on the bike this morning. Starting to get used to the saddle again but it's tuff. Hope to get a hike in this weekend somewhere.

Ouch, ran 2 miles today after about 8 months off. Hopefully I'll remember how bad it sucks getting back on next time I fall off the workout-wagon.

Morning: 2-hour core workout in the form of installing a dual-battery setup into the (enclosed) bow of my boat.
Afternoon: about to embark on a ride

I got back in the gym today. 20 minutes on the arm bike, then 20 minutes on the ski erg machine, then 20 on the floor doing 3 sets of 4 different leg lifts. Felt good.

Have fun tomorrow Mike! 4 miles in the rain, slush, mud, ice and rock with Onyx tonight. 40+ degrees but with wind that almost blew me over!

Did upper body today, felt OK. Always a little difficult after a couple of weeks off.
