Anyone interested in what appears to be very good deal ($299) on new Sig Whiskey 5 2-10x42 see Gunbroker Item Number 745996002. At work and can't make hot key to the add. Looks legit says 4 instock, but with $20 shipping.

I have 2 of those scopes but with the illuminated reticle ...I like them that's a lot of scope for only $299

Seems like a great price for a scope that retails for over $1k.... Are these made in Japan? I saw one report online of the Philippines, and one of Japan. Can't seem to find any official info about origin. I read a couple reviews that were favorable about glass quality and tracking. Have heard nothing about durability, but Sig says they'll back it forever. Might be worth a $300 gamble. Could probably resell for little or no loss...

They don't retail for that. The 30mm illuminated reticles are up there in price, but not the 1" non-illuminated models.

In what way ? I find the Conquest a very easy scope to mount with the great eye relief, and that alone
is a great thing.
