This book is about chocolate. Sort of. A woman, the protagonist Harper McDaniel, who is a photographer by trade goes away from the house for a few hours, leaving her husband, a newspaper reporter who works from home, with their infant son. She comes back to a burned down house. Her husband and son were murdered and the house torched. She starts investigating and finds that her husband was working on a story about chocolate. It's tied into a number of murders in the Ivory Coast, and links back to Switzerland. She goes to those places and the story just draws you in more and more.

There's a lot of crime going on.

A fine read.
