Thought I’d try here as well as classifieds. Prefer the one with the white line.

Keep yours eyes on Ebay. They pop up there from time to time. Good luck in your search.

Not sure I understand the reference to a white line. The classic Redfield Sourdough has an angled blade with a brass insert. Here is the genuine article on ebay but don't know if this is the size you need. https://www.ebay.com/itm/406-S-Redf...t-Savage-Winchester-Marlin-/311929241893If the square profile is the main point then there are lots of patridge style sights available, the XS front sights are commonly made with a white line running up the middle. However, they are made to match the XS peep sight so generally run very tall. If you want just a square blade Skinner makes a nice thin sight in several sizes, both in width and height and can make them in a black matte or solid brass. They are specifically made to be filed down some - if needed - to get the proper height.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

New England Custom Guns sells Patridge sights and they are very similar to the Sourdough sight and much easier to find.

I've got a couple of those sour doughs, and love them. I don't understand why we can't get them anymore. All manner of sighting gack is available, but not something useful like that.

Skinner sights have a parallel-sided front sight, but no brass insert. A bit high, but you can always file it down to raise your bullet impact and keep your rear sight on the lower end of the adjustment. http://www.skinnersights.com/front_sights_5.htmlI like sourdough sights, but I like these Skinner parallel-sided front sights better than front sights with a bead/ round top.
