We might have Mike.
Started today like so may others with shoveling snow.
Spin class then 3 sets of weights after work.
Supposed to head into a FS cabin tomorrow, second cabin trip of the week.

sounds like fun; I’m bagging my planned overnighter in the Elkhorns Saturday, calling for blizzard conditions- not good when you’re plan called for bagging two peaks smile

Tiny E and I headed back up to Mt Helena this evening, pretty chilly at 10 degrees, at least 8” of new snow higher. Doesn’t seem to bother Elvis, I think he may have some pine marten in him laugh

Have been giving the trainer a break for the last week and hammering the fat bike. It has been warm and snowing (and a little rain) lately.

Rode the beach on Monday and found a dead whale... so that was something. Swimming 2x per week. Mid-week workout is swim 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 15 minutes with 30 seconds of rest in between. Sort of exhausting.

Workout routine hit a snag. Biking wasn't too bad but treadmill really had me feeling bad and wheezing. Doc thinks it asthma but given my past we're heading into some tests. I'll know more in a week or so.

Long walk with the dogs this morning. They're upset that I didn't let them take their time to read their pee-mail along the way. Thinking up a creative work out for this afternoon. Trying to keep my work-outs full body, varied and taxing.

Don't do it!!!

You'll just end up hanging out with beached whales.

Bagged the cabin trip due to the prospect of high wind and possible rain, so I took Onyx yesterday afternoon for 4 miles on trail if you can call it that. Should have had snowshoes instead of my MicroSpikes. Snow was mid shin to knee deep until we hit a more used trail coming down. Good workout though.

Last day of Smolov Jr. Bench, Bent Dumb bell Rows, Preacher machine curls, 25 min of stationary bike. People might laugh at that but my last bench workout was 2x10(135), 2X10(215), 10x3(405). I am going to switch back to Wendler 5/3/1 and do more on squats, oh presses and deadlifts.

Upper body and core today.

Cyn has turned the corner (in a good way); missed 9 days work which is a record of sorts for her. I was clearly exposed to it, and there's been several nights where I was pretty certain I was getting sick... but so far have fought it off. Anyway she's got two big backpacking trips set up for summer so she's very motivated to get back to working out, once she stops hacking her lungs out in chunks, of course. Nasty flu.
