Deer in the headlights? End of his career or new beginning? Why would anyone go into that one sided fiasco? What was he thinking... that he could have a rational discussion with them?

I can only assume you're talking about Rubio. He showed his real colors a couple of years ago. Pure politician. Nothing more.

It has been a longstanding weakness of GOP politicians to believe that they can reason with unreasonable people or get fair/equal treatment from a media that is completely in the tank for the Democrats.
Winning elections isn't about converting the non-believers nearly so much as it is about turning out your base voters. Many of these RINO's would rather give away the store, and hope one independent voter shows up, rather than sticking to any sort of principles, and insuring 3 of their base voters shows....

Yes, Rubio, it looked like the high school student was about to make him cry and he wanted to be President....Sad!

why on earth did he agree to go to that. It looked like a rally put together by george soros. If rubio had said lets ban the guns and take them away everyone would have cheered. I hope how one sided it looked was a turn off to people. It turned me off as an anti gun pep rally. I know one of these kids that was in the media was also involved in a [bleep] show out in california. It smells of soros. The sheriff was annoying to me too. someone should be asking him why they failed and ignored this monster. Why aren't people asking why nothing was done when it was widely reported that this kid was out of wack. instead it ban guns.

Yeah, it seemed to me to be a one-sided, anti-gun pep-rally and I can't figure what Marco was thinking by attending. Bet he wishes now that he hadn't.

He should have gone, but he should have figured out WTF he was going to say before he got there!
Mark Begich, Joaquin Jackson, and Heller resistance... Three huge reasons to worry about the NRA.

I probably hit more elk with a pickup than you have with a rifle. I have yet to see anyone claim Leupold has never had to fix an optic. I know I have sent a few back. 2 MK 6s, a VX-6, and 3 VX-111s.

just read CNN controlled the questions - at least some of them were scripted. One kid was invited to go and was told what to ask, he chose not to attend if he couldn't ask his own question.
I give Rubio credit for going. Its got to be hard to stand there and face a father whose daughter was killed and be asked why didn't you do anything to prevent this from happening.

The Father who lost his daughter should have been asking The director of the FBI what the [bleep] happened.

That's how we have always ended up loosing our second amendment rights. There isn't much arguing with the emotions of a grieving parent. Gun control is based on emotion and not reason so we are slowly letting our right to own firearms be eroded away from compassion.
Rubio has always been a great debater but he is a politician and will do what ever he has to to remain in power. Trump is the same way and it is what I feared the most about electing him. He has always been liberal leaning and he is an easy mark in an emotional argument.
Now more than ever we are seeing the need to elect officials that will truly govern with the intent of our founding fathers and not fall victim to the emotions of a mob driven by an angry press and vulture socialist democrats.
