Trees are getting green leaves in the neighborhoods where I work. I live 40 miles north, no green at my house.yet.
It must be warmer in a neighborhood.

Didn’t get “squat” done around the house.....serious MDS (motivation deficit syndrome). Spring? When we first moved here, I was “ “breaking ground” for our garden in late February......this morning, we were a -9 F. I’d need C-4 to “break ground”!

Ran my new snow blower for only the second time this winter. Previous time was Christmas morning. We're FINALLY getting snow. Supposed to snow Sunday through Thursday here, thank goodness.

Shoot mon,we had to open a BR window night 'fore last it was so hot.....mnts of Va and no,wifey won't gettin frisky.I sure wish my job was as secure as those lyin mo-fo weather folks on the boobtube?They get it right just about 50/50...

This has been a rather cold February in northern Montana.
Average temp thus far for the month is -3F.
But the big warm-up is due to start tomorrow, highs in the 20's!
Hell it felt pretty damn nice this afternoon at a sunny and calm 12F.

High 70's low 80's every day this week. Grass growing, may have to cut it soon, Red Buds in full bloom and buds on all trees. Normally April before I have to cut grass for the first time. Can't wait to get camper out of storage.

This seems like it's been a long winter. My main heat source is wood heat, a stove on each end of the house. I'm getting pretty tired of feeding the stoves. Be glad when spring gets here.

I like the way that our four seasons each has its own character and would miss any of them if I was in a place where they were not so clearly delineated. I more often long for winter during each of the other three than I do for them during winter.
Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.

Moved 5+ inches of snow outta the driveways yesterday, and another 5-8" are coming tonight... Thank God for my JD 3039R, snow bucket and rear-mounted snow blower... Which reminds me - I gotta dump in another 5 gallons of diesel in it before today's gone..

I was plowing the foot or so of snow that we got off the driveway yesterday. It was about 20* and lo and behold, I see a freakin Robin land on the driveway.
Either that bird is seriously lost or it is mentally challenged.
