Yeah, years ago I read a peer reviewed article about wounds that stated that a
AK round was deadly because it "tumbles as it flies through the air"
That would make it about as accurate as some of these statements

Also, he said a AR 15 isn't accurate enough for hunting, than a minute of so later he says it's accurate to 600 yards.

there was a twinkie in california that posted on a friends facebook page about why anybody needed a military assault weapon. After correcting the asssault word in describing an a.r., i had great fun in pointing out the United States Government has been selling "guns" to the civilian population for well over a 100 years. And, horrors, other than dcm/cmp, the army had declared 175000 m1carbines as scrap, and were sold to NRA members as well as a bunch of 1911a1's.
I pointed out a m1carbine with a jungle clip attachment will hold 60 rounds. Snicker.

I guess i should mention a conversation i had with the sheriff of a southern california county at the western regional shoot at ben avery a few years ago.
He was firing a m1carbine. I mentioned the mag rule in california. He snickered and said grampa brought back a lot of them, and the arizona/nevada border was't that far away. I thought that funny.
