I've seen some wood block tricks on youtube. Care to elaborate? I'd rather not have to deal with changing a door pin.

Wood block on your floor jack. Apply a little pressure to bottom of door. You’ll need a small hammer and punch, remove keepers, tapout pins with friend holding jack and the door. Remove the door off the hinges, tapout bushings. If you need the door totally away, there should be a quick disconnect plug for the wiring to the door inside the side panel (where wire loom enters front pillar or body). Install new bushings, align door hinges to body hinges, tap in pins and install keepers.

Wood block is just to add stability to support door and prevent scratching your paint.

Engine hoist with spreader bar and straps will lift and hold it - helper to stabilize - make sure you do a little pre-load to overcome any sag.

I just replaced mine by myself with a floor jack. Don' take both door pins out at once, do them one at a time.
