Going to warm up some corn tortillas and I'm good to go.

Not really a recipe... 2 cups of beans (soaked).
1 onion, 1 serrano chili. 1/2 lb bacon. 1 c coffee. 2-3 cans chicken broth as needed.

Saute onion. Cook bacon extra crispy. Add all to slow cooker. Add your favorite spices.

I added garlic and black pepper.

Sounds killer. A friend, an Arizonan, and I headed to my place in north Idaho a month or so ago and he made a fine pot. Hard to beat that stuff.

Lamb stew consisting of, onion, potato, mini yellow bell pepper, broccoli and lamb of course (His name was Luke, my kid niece raised him for 4 H. It's almost the end of him frown ).

Seasoned with Ras al Hanout ( Moroccan spice mix).

[Linked Image]

Followed by a soon to be eaten apple dessert (My wife already go to it, but she cooked it so it's sorta OK that the man of the house didn't get his piece first)

Charlie,

I've been warned not to name anything I grow here on the homestead!

By the way, nice pot you nabbed there. I'll try to remember to watch for the report on performance.

Oh, the stew was cooked in cast iron fry pan. As Luke deserved.

Geno

PS, I think Luke won a ribbon or some such. No matter, he was so tasty. And as is normal for 4H animals.............................f'n expensive. Our family had to outbid folks................in the San Diego area , at the Del Mar county fair no less. Nowhere near the prices I saw them going for in Asotin county.
