I shoot lots of 45 cal molds in my 45-110 but not this one however it looks good, carries plenty of lube but definitely wouldn't be my choice for a hunting bullet.

We have a 1000 yard range and a BPCR informal once a month. My rifle is a 26" so the ladder only reaches 800 yards. I am looking for an easy transition into TARGET BPCR with my Saddle Gun. I think a WFN is best in a game bullet, however ED thinks the PH undersize bullet is the do-everything slug. If I go heavier, my sights may not be near to range. Probably the 500 RN is a good match to the sight ladder...? Ran across the 45 PM and do not even know what the PM stands for, Good Night ? Is there a 45 AM ? Which is best ? Bill

Ed knows I like and shoot the PH as well but the 500 gr Gov't bullet will match your sight ladder much better IMO.. I have no trouble shooting the PH but it does drop an undersized bullet one reason I cast it softer at 30:1 alloy..BP will bump up undersized cast bullets however I have all my molds custom made these days to drop minimum .459 -.460 with deep grooves which allows me the flexibility to play with different sizing. One more positive for the PH it doesn't foul like some others just ask jorge

Bill, The PM stands for Paul Matthews. That is one of his newer designs. I am bringing all of my .45 caliber moulds, including the #457125 500gr Gov't bullet, the #457121PH 475gr Parker Hale bullet, a 535gr #457132 Postell bullet, a 330gr #457122 "Gould" HP, and a #457193 405gr Gov't bullet. We should be able to work up something for your rifle. Ed
