What are the thoughts around the 12x super sniper. I have 2 of the 10x’s and like them.
Just purchased a 338 lapua and need to scope it. Have read that the 16x and 20x are kinda of
Dim.

I have one on my 6.5 NAFC long range toy. It works well for that. I wouldn't put one on a hunting rifle where low light performance is necessary. I certainly wouldn't call it dim but it suffers at first and last light.

I've got a couple of the 12x and a 10X.

Not much difference in brightness really. Like rovert said, first/last light, maybe lose a couple minutes.

I like them both, and like the 12X a little better when shooting long range past 1000 yards.

10X is my favorite between the two, everything considered.
