Try Simpsons' in Galeburg, IL, as they import used Husqvarna rifles in CONEX size lots. 309-342-5800 www.simpsonltd.com

THANKS. I'll see what they know.
Just started this "quest" today. Going to take one of the action screws to a local hardware store that has a GOOD assortment of hardware and see what they got. Hopefully someone knows the thread size and posts it.
1A if I come on to something I'll post it here.

Try 1/4”-22. Same as a Mauser 96, 98, etc.

Frank de Haas lists them as .230 x 26 DeHass was kinda stoopid. They're Metric. I get em at Ace Hardware. The socket head screws need to be shortened on the underside of the head or they protrude too far out of the bottom metal. They also sell a button head screw which doesn't protrude too far but the diameter needs to be reduced enough to fit in the recesses.

Ace is where I was going. Actually it's the only place to go unless I want to drive 1 1/2 hrs one way. I'll be using them on a blind magazine stock so I may just be able to remove a bit of stock material. THANKS

Got what I needed at ACE and put the rifle back together. M6 x 1.0 socket head cap screws. They had no stainless but the black oxide is fine. Got a 20mm and trimmed it down for the front. Wanted an18mm but they had none. Still would have had to trim it. Got a 30mm for the rear and trimmed it down.
