Just learned about these actions that replace the 10/22 action with a Fortner style straight pull bolt action. Anybody have any knowledge or experience with these actions?
Volquartsen bought PWS's Summit action design. PWS made them for several years and most people who have them seem to love them.
I was fortunate to pick up a PWS Summit T3 3 or 4 years ago and it shoot incredibly well. I would assume that Volquartsen will put their magic in it and make it better.
I had a PWS Summit action for a while. It was fine, but I decided it didn't do anything for me a 10/22 didn't already accomplish, especially since I wasn't shooting biathlon, so it went down the road. Glad to hear Volquartsen took over production.
