so I am wanting to build a custom rifle on a m70 push feed stainless action but have been striking out on finding one. would it be possible to do a mat grey cerakote finish to give the rifle a stainless look? any pictures of rifles with grey cerakote would be appreciated if anyone has any.

257Heaven had one hard chromed by Mahovsky and it looks great, the price isn't bad either. IMO would be much tougher than cerakote. https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/12650608/1

Heck yes. I can't recall if this one is titanium or sniper gray (me thinks sniper gray) - I'll check the paperwork.

Another color you might want to consider is Satin Mag - it ends up looking much like a bead blasted satin stainless finish. I have one Eddie Fosnaugh did for me but don't have a pic at the moment but could shoot some in the AM if it helps.

This one is Sniper Grey This isn't the best pic, but the rifle (the black one) is a Rem 5R (stainless). I had that bottom metal cerakoted Savage Stainless. It matches very well and looks like a bead blasted stainless. This one is Titanium

The rifle in Sniper Grey, What stock and color is that? It's a McMillan Gamescout. I don't recall the %'s off the top of my head exactly, but think it was 50% Lt Grey, 30% Md Grey and 20% Blk

What does a stock like that cost? I'm thinking about $600.00

My only cerakoted rifle is done in Graphite Black & that is exactly what it looks like.

I have one Eddie Fosnaugh did for me but don't have a pic at the moment but could shoot some in the AM if it helps. I had Karl Feldkamp cerakote the aluminum bottom metal on two of my rifles with bead blasted stainless actions and barrels and he recommended satin mag cerakote. It matches the bead blasted stainless on the rest of the rifles almost perfectly.
