My Marine Grandson is headed back to the fight for the 5th time, I'm hoping we can get this thing cleaned up sooner than later. He's been in 12 years & is a Gunny Sargent & still in one piece after 2 tours in Iraq & 2 in Afghanistan. This tour covers both countries plus Syria so I'm hoping our President & military commanders can end this thing once & for all but not holding my breath. I served from 1966-70 & didn't see where we accomplished a whole lot for the price we paid. We need to be tougher, most times that ends up saving lives in the long run, my thoughts.

God bless him and from the father of a young Marine I thank God that there’s men like your grandson to lead them. I’ll pray for his safe return to his loving family and a long and enjoyable life for a man that’s spent enough time in hell.

+1! My son will be leaving on his 3rd deployment in June. He has 1.5 years remaining on his contract and genuinely loves the Corps. He will be re-upping. God bless him and from the father of a young Marine I thank God that there’s men like your grandson to lead them. I’ll pray for his safe return to his loving family and a long and enjoyable life for a man that’s spent enough time in hell.

My thanks to the sons and grandsons who wear the uniform and serve to protect our Constitution. I thank God daily that we have such men in our country. My son recently went from reserve duty to active duty. We're not sure when he will be deployed again but it will likely happen within 2 years. I stand in awe of their commitment to service.
