Need input for lightweight scope rings, 1", for Weaver/Picatinney bases. Use Weavers a lot but their QC seems to have slipped.

I’d take a look at the TPS alloys or Warne MountainTechs. Great rings and pretty light as well.

If you're not burning through batteries in your headlamp,...you're doing it wrong.

I've got 2 sets of TPS alloys. For the price, I couldn't find anything else that was in that weight class for the money. Next step would be the Nightforce Ultra Lites. Very nice as well, but the price jumps.
Give TPS a go. I really enjoy them. Lots of guys have gravitated to the torx cross bolts instead of the nut cross bolt, but I like the TPS. 7/16 nut instead of the bigger 1/2 that are on the Bader, Leupold Mark 4, etc.

Warne mountain techs. bought a pair of them a couple weeks ago, appear to be rugged and light.
When people face the possibility of freezing or starving there is little chance they are going to listen to unfounded claims of climate doomsday from a bunch of ultra-rich yacht sailing private jet-setting carbon-spewing hypocrite elites

I like Seekins. Vortex Precision are the same, just rebranded.

Lots of nice options out there.
Any reading or testing done on the strength/continuity of torx screw clamping vs nut cross bolt clamping on a pic rail?
May have to test things out myself. I'd like to zero a scope, take it off the rail, put it back on the rail, and see if it keeps zero. Do the test with different types of rings and manufacturer torque.

My two cents:
Hunting rifle - Talley Lightweights sized to provide minimum barrel clearance. Precision rifle - Burris XTR Signature canted to allow use of the scope's complete travel. (in effect, providing a zero stop to non-zero stop scopes such as the Sightron SIII LRMOA I normally use)

Hawkins Precision. You can even get them with 25 moa built into the rings. They can be found for $125

My Warne QD 1" low rings weigh in at 2.5 oz on my scale. Not sure how light you are looking for. These are steel and pretty rugged. When you get up to the mediums, the weight goes over 5 oz.
