They don't seem to be making what they were a bit ago. I put my '54 257 Roberts up (95-98%) for sale with dies brass bullets and a Zeiss Conquest for $2200 and no one wanted it. Actually glad now no one bought it. It would be hard to replace. Unfortunately there is always something else shiny that I just have to have. LOL Yep, the market is soft right now.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I never trusted him or perry county, someone that magically and repeatedly comes up with rare Model 70's is extremely suspect to me. You can add a seller way down south to your list.

I've also handled some of those southern guns that were obviously redone. I don't know how folks still buy them.

Bsa1917hunter: Looks like the market is still alive and well - gun sold! Headed for a big gunshow tomorrow with a pocket full of jingle - and am in the mood to find some of your "soft market" pre-64 Model 70's therein! Long live the Riflemans Rifle. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
