Actually Pmags have a born on date imprinted on them. So if they actually were looking to prosecute you those are available.
Thru most of the state civil disobedience is at play, many gun shops sell "parts kits" which includes all the pieces to assemble a magazine greater than 15 rounds. The law is so poorly written that most Police agencies ignore it.
You can move here with all the 30 round mags you dare to acquire. I believe you are wrong. The Colorado law mandated a "born on" date, and Pmag said they would never do it, as they moved out of the state. In a way there is a born on date on magpul gen 2 anyways. It’s on the left side, looks like a star. It’s an arrow pointing at the month, with the year split by the arrow shaft. These are 2/17 and some from last year are marked 3/16. I have some 10 year old Pmags with those month/year markings on them.

“These are ammunition, they’re bullets, so the people who have those now, they’re going to shoot them, so if you ban them in the future, the number of these high-capacity magazines is going to decrease dramatically over time because the bullets will have been shot and there won’t be any more available.” Dianna DeGette (D) United States House of Representatives Colorado.
This sums it up for me. Must be related to this dumb [bleep]. This is a prime lesson that politicians should familiarize themselves with the topic at hand before speaking publicly. California State Senator Kevin de León spoke at length about “ghost guns,” or firearms that lack a serial number, during a press conference in 2014. Arguably the most memorable moment was when de León identified one of the “ghost guns.” “This is a ghost gun. This right here has the ability with a 30-caliber clip to disperse with 30 bullets within half a second. 30 magazine clip within half a second,” he said.

K.C. and Deerstalker,
Respect your service and opinion, but 180 out of all my happy encounters in the Eastern mountains. Small (less than 15 U.S.) team all carried 10-15 mags and would break contact when average was four per man. Had ammo n water resupply down pat, but we did expend copious quantities of American Freedom. BTW, the boys could shoot...

The cops couldn't know .... so they'd just arrest you anyway and say, "Prove it in court, a$$hole." Guilty until proved innocent. No. Not unless you live in Denver or Boulder. Nearly every county sheriff in Colorado joined the lawsuit to prevent implementation of that law, claiming that it was so poorly written as to be unenforceable. I own some property in Custer County. The sheriff there, Shannon Byerly, was quoted in the local paper as saying "we have more important things to do than count bullets." People tend to forget that outside of the big cities, Colorado is full of good, regular people. It's just a shame that those big cities are ruining the state.
