Give me a month we are going spring bear killing in the best WA has to offer. Tag took 8 years to draw.

It takes 8 years to draw a bear tag? holy molly they practically give them away here.

If you do draw a tag what is the success rate?

Itโ€™s a pretty good tag. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Fall bears is over the counter in WA. and essentially runs August - November.

Spring bear tags are draw only and Freds runs April-May in a unit full of stud bears

Iโ€™m not. How ever I have tested them in many other calibers and weights, they preform much like a Barnes just a tiny bit softer.

PS my apologies for derailing your thread.

Fred,

I've NEVER had a thread on the 'fire not get "derailed." Its all good.

Do you prefer the 145 ELD to the 130 E-Tip?

The local Sportsmans has the 130 E-Tip factory loads on the shelf for $24.99/box. I know its marked wrong, but may get all of them just because.

Yes the 145 ELDX or Nosler 150LRAB. I would even go 140 Nosler AB over the Etip.

Easy to see why the 270 gets the gay rap.
