Don't even get me started on .22's, which my parents didn't allow until well after all my buddies had graduated to one. I wonder why.
I think your sister knows the answer to that question...  Who didn't shoot their sister in the bum at least once with their BB gun? It's a rite of passage!

Yeah between age 6 & 10, maybe, I probably only had actual possession of the BB guns 2/3 of the time. But Pop made up for it by taking me along on the rat hunting expeditions to the town dump on Sunday afternoons after church.

I remember taking my Crossman 760 up to 15-pumps. I think 12 was the max. A buddy of mine blew out is Benjamin by over pumping it all of the time. I guess on a fundamental level we've always been fascinated with raw velocity.
