After many years of trying to complete my hunts in a single, long day I am keen to start doing multi-day hunts and will need a bigger pack. My current day pack is an Osprey Stratos 36. Back in the early 2000's I had one of the early Eberlestock Just One packs but found it heavy to use as a day pack and never got it quite comfortable.
I have been reading about top quality hunting packs like Kifaru, Stone Glacier and Seek Outside however by the time I get one here to New Zealand and convert currencies and pay import duties I'm looking at around $1,500 for a pack without accessories. While the quality and capability of these packs would be nice, I'm not sure my needs justify that sort of outlay.
Tatonka packs from Germany seem popular here in NZ with hunters, look to be of good quality and I was wondering if anyone at the Fire had personal experience with them? I am looking at the Yukon 70lt pack.
