Great shooting! I see "Aunt Jemima" is still putting them where you aim!

atse, Some of the people on the ( I'm done with the .243 forever ) thread, Know you can't hit anything over 100 yrds or kill anything bigger than a jackrabbit with a .243.

Judman, I'm using a scope I bought used here on the fire, Vortex Viper 3-15x44 works good enough for me. Rio7

257 mag. This rifle is Cooper model 54 with 24" 1x8 twist barreled action, stock is a cobbled together piece of crap with a slip on butt pad taped to it, I put a Whitt muzzle brake on it to reduce recoil so I could spot my shots better as I usually shoot alone, My friend Miles Patton, looked at this rifle and named it Aunt Jemima, it fits. 65br Brass is mixed what ever, mostly range pickup once fired, I clean it ,size it, reload it, and shoot it. it gets to complicated for me if I do much more. Rio7

laugh When I went down and shot with RIO7 after he had started getting deep into .243's, I was amazed that his brass supply was a mix of Hornady, Federal brass, Federal nickel plated, Winchester brass, Winchester nickel plated, Remington, and Lapua. All in the same loading blocks! shocked

He has since separated the nickle plated stuff out, but it's still a zoo of mixed headstamps. And he shoots groups like the ones above. grin

Don't know what voodoo rituals go on when other folks aren't around to make all that brass act the same, but whatever he's doing works.

BTW, you don't want to put money on a shooting contest with him unless you have more than you want. More than a couple of former military snipers, shooting their own custom stuff, have come out on the losing end. grin

Me, I just shoot with him, not against him...
