The Sig Romeo red dots are made by Holosun. I have heard good things about both but don't own one.

I have a HS403C on a CZ Scorpion, that I am very happy with it. Excellent value for the money. Researching re dots, it appears that the Holosun's, Sig Romeo series and Primary Arms offerings all come out of the same place. Just put a 403 B on a ruler 10/22, heading to range next week to get it worked out.

I've been buying/using the Primary Arms MD-ADS which is the same as one of the Holosun models (sorry I forget which), and really like it. 50,000 hour battery life, clear glass and crisp dot, and they seem to be pretty durable. I'll be buying more as well when I need them.

The R-4 replaced a Vortex Sparc II due simply to battery life, and the R-5 was put on my .458 SOCOM. I found a spot this year while deer hunting that deer off neighboring property will move through when pushed hard, and they do it about every Saturday. The .458/R-5 will be there next year.

I've had one for a few years now. It works well and still has the original battery. I was a little skeptical when I bought it but have been pleased with it's performance. Mine is on an Ak47 and is basically a lightduty rifle. It's a Chinese optic but in my case so is the rifle.

I have the 503GU and really like it. The only flaw is the soft mount bolt - you must use locktite blue and tighten it to less than seems right - otherwise it will sheer off while you are shooting. After I learned that, my sight has been great for more than a thousand rounds now. I also used a tiny bit of silicon grease on the cap/cover o-rings as a precaution. I have used it in heavy rain without issue. It does have a small amount of parallax error, despite what the manufacture claims.
