Hello all. I am a college student and enjoy the campfire. I have learned so much and gained so much from everyone on here. I am writing a paper for my English class about how social media affects the social skills and interactions of it's users. To be precise my research question is "What effect does the use of social media have on people’s social skill and social lives?" I am collecting some primary research via a survey and would love it if some of you could participate. Note that this survey is not just for those who use social media. FYI. Deactivated my FB account months ago, best internet related decision i've made. Should have never joined in the 1st place.
The 24hr campfire and a few other hunting & fishing forums, ebay, AA & GB (gun, hunting, fishing related purchases). YouTube for instruction on Mechanical issues (car, home, boat,etc.) and when I want to learn a new song on guitar.
Yahoo, Huff Post, Google, etc., "news' sites are propaganda machines & nothing more.

Maybe I am old, less than computer literate and definitely paranoid, but wasn't there recently a huge uproar about Facebook and an online survey resulting in the disclosure of info about millions of people.
