What do y’all have in the 280? We can throw AI into the mix as well. I hear about the 280 fairly often but out of boredom I started searching for rifles in it last night and was surprised to find that it’s not common whatsoever in current production rifles. 2 models from Winchester, 1 model from big green... It’s one of those rounds that’s not the top of my list but I would really like to get one somewhere down the line.

Browning chambers 5 rh X-bolts in 280. Probably the best deal out there right now is the Ruger Hawkeye that CDNN has. $450.

I have one .280 - its the rifle I've owned the longest of all my rifles. Its one of older Remington KS Mtn rifles and its a nice rifle that I don't use much or at all but doubt I'd get rid of it.

I’ve got an X-Bolt Stainless Stalker. No complaints. Easily sub-moa, good trigger, smooth action, and I like the feel of the stock.

I was about five minutes from doing this^^^^^but found a Rem 700 in 7mm Express on GB. Ruger is a great deal. I have three. Both a Kimber Montana in the Ackley and a Winchester 70 classic FW in a Bridges Edge.

Have an Encore that is superb. Had a nice Rem Mountain Rifle that I hunted for several years. Loved it. Then gave it to my oldest son and he sold it for pennies on the dollar a while back. He isn't getting any more. That said I have a Howa action waiting for the trimmest barrel I can put on it. Light stock and I will have a nice bolt gun in 280 again.

I have three 280s, one 280AI, all of which are accurate rifles, digesting 160 Nosler Partitions or 160 Nosler AccuBonds. I’ve killed elk, black bear, mule deer, whitetail in the US and a Kudu, Gembok, Impala and Warthog with the AI in Africa. I’m headed to Alaska for a moose hunt and will take two rifles, a 338-06 and 280 AI as a backup. I doubt that the moose, if I get the chance, will know the difference as to which one dispatches him.

Ruger might have a walnut stock on hand for that, if you're interested in such a thing. Call the parts department. They have what they have on any given day. Regardless, that's a good deal on a solid rifle. The .300 RCM they have with walnut is a screaming deal, if you're not allergic to odd cartridges.
What fresh Hell is this?

I'm down to one .280 - Remington KS. The other got sent out for a new tube and came back a .270.

Remington 700 Classic, 1997 limited production version.
Used to have a 700 BDL marked as 7mm Express, but that's long gone.

I could post pictures of each kill with those rifles, but, that cumulative total would look like one of Pat’s (Scenar Shooter) posts.

Two...a 700 Mountain SS with the lami stock, and a very purdy limited edition CDL. Love them.

Got my first 280 in 1968. Never been without one since. Currently have two M70 Featherweights: ..one from the 90s with a BOSS, and one which was a Shot Show Special in 2015. Winchester still lists the FWT in their catalog, but you sure don't see them very often. They are sweet rifles, though, IMO.
