It’ll only make a statement and difference if we could get about 40 million more to do the same, although as the Germans could attest to the ash from that big of a weenie roast could become a nuisance. My contempt for the ultra liberals and progressive fascists outweighs my compassion for my fellow man. If they want to do us a favor and make a statement then who am I to challenge their silly notions? For a purportedly smart fellow he didn't seem to know that people are living decades longer due to use of fossil fuels. And there is one other minor thing...I wonder if he thought in those last moments of clarity "Oh [bleep]...this was a bad idea".

I think his reasonings for Torching himself is a lot deeper than Fossil fuel’s. He made no difference in the earths Future/demise. Exactly. Good cover story for whatever else was infecting this guy's noggin, but will have zero impact on the climate debate or policy.
