blamed him for the war.

One day in Iraq I had a conversation with my Company XO (an FBI agent in regular life) the gist of which was reminding him that the flyers we posted around our area directed toward the Iraqi people were "Information Operations" and those the insurgents posted were "Propoganda".
From August of 1990 to March of 2003 Saddam was the boogey man we wanted him to be and nothing else.
