The other day I saw an 8 pounder of H380 for $140, I think it was. Tempted, but waited since it isn't high on my favorites list. Today I walked through again and an 8 pounder of H4831 was sitting there for $160. (Around $230 seems more common here.) Paying $20/ lb for one of my favorites ....... that's better than a swill of beer in a dry village!

You should have got me one.... . I won't get down until the first weekend in May. Probably be gone by then.

I looked, hoping I could enrich someone else. But I wanted to 'warn' people about the red tag opportunities anyway. Seems like they might be pushing a few items here and there to encourage regular visits, or perhaps just moving aging inventory.

Market is soft elsewhere. They are moving a lot of stuff up to Anchorage, Wasilla and Fairbanks because people are buying stuff. Some stuff they are closing out. The FAI store is moving away from the high dollar guns and moving to more modern chasis rifles.
