I have a 140 accubond load going 3360fps and a 110ttsx load going 3690fps. Which would you use out to 400 for a hold on brown and watch it go down northern whitetail load? I can't decide. Both shoot .75" or better.

The 140 AccuBond is a heckuva great Bullet. No experience with the light for caliber mono’s. I know the Accubonds work awesome on deer and elk though.

I use the 140 too! A 130 TTSX would be good too.

Out to 400 hold on brown. Definitely the 110 ttsx. I have seen it go through a few whitetails and mule deer here like butter. 220 yds broadside with the 110 I have had great luck even with the 85 tsx in my 243AI. A big bodied mule deer buck and big bodied whitetail. The whitetail took one up the tailpipe as it was running away and exited out the opposite shoulder. 85 tsx whitetail

110 fast for what you are wanting to do.....hold on brown down. No wrong choice but for what you asked I'd say 110's if they're as accurate at 400 as the 140's

A 140 Accubond should be good to go. I use a 150 TTSX in my 7mm Weatherby with great results on deer and elk. Personally, I would go with the 130 TTSX. The .270 and 7mm Bee’s performance is so close and with that I would stick to bullets toward the heavier side for big deer although I shoot a 100 gr TTSX in .257 Roberts. Happy Trails

Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

I'd go with the 140 AB. I shoot them out of a 280 AI and have more DRT kills with them than any other bullet I've used.

All kinds of answers to questions you never asked... 110 ttsx Without fail, every damn time. As to the OP's question, deer aren't bulletproof. Use whatever color tip, white or blue, makes your nuts tingle when you load it in your rifle.

That 110 TTSX will dam-near go through an elephant when fired at those ranges from a .270 Roy. Wicked, smack-down, bang/flop, DRT, Hammer of Thor, Lightning Bolt of Zeus type kills.
I’m not even sure a Whitetail’s body even slows it down.
What could be a sadder way to end a life than to die having never hunted with great dogs, good friends and your family?
