I don't think so. I use to use those regularly. Bass Pro & Capitol One don't seem to buy into that strategy.

Their sales are getting worse. I use to buy a lot from them. I haven't bought hardly anything since Bass Pro took over.

And they really limited the military discount.

I used one a couple weeks ago, haven't seen one since then. When I buy from them I usually use gift cards that I get for 20% off face value.

It seems like ever since Bass pro took over they don't give out many coupons anymore. I will buy less from them in the future.

I suspect that once Dick's and Field and Stream go tits up, the deals at Cabelas and Bass Pro will become even more scarce.

I bought six 100 gift cards for 82, and three more for 80 each. So I have 900 bucks to spend there. I can't find anything there that would be cost effective, or realy anything I need. I wanted a Pedersoli flintlock, and they always go on sale after Christmas. This year they did not discount them. So I will sit on them. I also wanted to double dip with coupons, but they are for 10 or 20 bucks off. Not a real driver to get me to shop there. Anyway this leads me to think Cabelas is heading down a dangerous slope. Comments in this tread, and my own opinion is that Cabelas is trending down.

since the buyout, the cabelas near me has really become joke, they don't stock half the selection that they use to and the gun library is all but gone, and a library worker said they were phasing out the used guns. don't know if he meant this store or company wide. we just lost the gander mountain because they couldnt compete with cabelas and now cabelas is suckin due to poor management. I use to love going there and now I avoid them

I agree their gun library is on a downhill slide. My local store has gone from 10 pages online to 4. Still, I have found a couple good deals (made even better with discounted gift cards ) in the past year. Some of the guns that have been on the shelf for awhile are being steeply discounted. Speaking with the employees though, it seems a different atmosphere there now.....i.e. no dickering on price, it's all determined by "corporate".

Keep in mind you can use gift cards to pay when they do the 10% off promo for card holders. Check out the fine print. As long as your item isn’t excluded.

I also haven't gotten any of these coupons lately. The 20% gift cards are the way to go when they pop up on eBay. It makes most of their stuff about the same price as online retailers, but when they have sales and you combine it with these gift cards, sometimes you can get an awesome deal.
