Just read of Mr. Kort's passing.
Too bad, he was a nice guy and very knowldgeable with lever action rifle info and reloading.
He was very helpful when I asked for help loading a vintage .44-40.
RIP Mr.Kort ....

John was one of the good guys. knew him for many years and considered him a friend. First time I shot on the ridgeway range he set me up with a guide..a local guy to meet me there. knew more than anyone about cast bullets and lever guns. A fixture at out local sight in days. He will be missed....

I knew John for the past 25 years and benefited from our relationship more than I can say. John Kort was one of the finest men I ever knew.
