Unless I'm reading it wrong, that picture and the text was from last year. 60 slides last winter. Ya, I can't tell if by "last year" the articles are referring to avalanches and land slides from the 2017-2018 winter or the one before. I'm guessing it means 2017-2018 since they we having so much trouble getting equipment to the accident scene. The articles are poorly written.

I read it as closed last season. From winter 2016- 2017.

There is a video posted by the hunters friends out looking for them on Facebook under Idaho County Sheriffs Office if anyone is interested.We have a scanner and there is something going on in the backcountry, but I just got the last of it..

Search was called off earlier this week. One boot was found. Dogs and a fast moving water diver were used in the search.
