New operation system. Man, do they ever want to be in control. Chrome, wants to keep tabs, and report to whoever. End of rant. Wish me success.

Don't use Chrome. It is an overlord of epic proportions. They don't even try to hide that fact.
At the least, switch to something like Mozilla Firefox. It's a better browser anyway.

My experience sez just the opposite.. Had FF.. Once. Never, ever again... YMMV.

I've been using FF since it debuted with nary a problem, on mostly "old" computers.
What did you have trouble with?
Still, avoid Chrome. As a Google product, they literally own everything you have ever done with their browser, and they know literally everything you have ever done with it, along with integrating that data with Gmail and Google search engine usage.
