Browning X Bolt 1 in 9 twist 26” 80 grains H1000
Grouping OK at 100. At 200 and 300 I’m lucky if 1 bullet hits paper.
Could the bullets be heating up and disentegrating? Seems like they should be stable ~3200 fps at 600’ elevation.
Scope and rail are torqued down.
Any ideas or suggestions? I’ve got some 180 Bergers ordered I was hoping to make these Hornadys work with their higher BC.

With no other info I'd say twist may be to blame...
Some barrels are ok on the edge, some ain't....

KC, I’ve heard of that before; where your bullet turns to dust if it doesn’t hit anything. Nobody knows for certain about the science...🙈😎
