I would try the Classifieds, I've been amazed at what I could find by just asking.
24HCF in its entirety, is solely responsible for why my children do not have college funds, my mortgage isn't paid-off and why I will never retire early enough to enjoy the remainder of my life.

Thanks to you both. Sometimes I overlook the obvious. I think my brain is shrinking-if I could get the gut to do the same we would be good-stupid but skinny.
I am thinking of going in a new direction here. I am looking at taking the Leupold 2.5x8 off my Browning 270WSM and putting it on my new Tikka T3x 7mm-08. Then thinking I would buy Swarovaki Z3 -in 3-10x42 for the Browning. I tried to delete the original post but unable to do so.

If sticking with the used silver Leupold idea, would suggest the 3.5-10x40.

Ebay solved my need. I switched gears a bit. I got a Swarovski for $100.00 off. They have a special 20% off-max discount $100.00- now using PICKDADSGIFT as discount code. You have to make a $50.00 or more purchase. I was looking to do this already and $100.00 off with no tax and free shipping was a no brainer. Probably saved $140.00 or so going this route. I will have the scope by Monday
I am going to take the Swarovoski and put it on my Browning as I wanted a bit of a bump in power anyway. The 2.5 x8 Leupold will go on the Tikka and keep the whole rig fairly light. All is good now-until the next "need" strikes.
