I've only seen pictures but appears to be in descent shape. But the market is soft on rifles, and I don't really keep up on these. Any ideas? Also it's a 1973 model.

I can't give you an accurate price, but those are my favorites. I'd pay a small premium over the standard rifle, but it seems most people won't. Best advice I can give is to expect a small premium over whatever the standard rifles sell for in your area. Most of them have 20" barrels, but I've seen a few with 18.5" barrels, I understand that was only one year. I had one years ago and let it go. One of the few I'd like back. Not to be confused with the 16" barrel Maurader or LTS.

I paid $400 for one in pretty good shape two years ago. Thought I got a pretty good deal then.

I just sold a 1982 Texan for 425. It was about as mint as a 30year old gun could be that hadn't been hid in a safe all its life. They are short and handy, only reason I sold it is I already had 4 30-30's. 400 isn't bad at all. A new Remington made 336AW is 400 easy and that Texan is twice the gun a new one is IMO
