Do any of ya'll read this magazine? What do you like or dislike about it. I was thinking of subscribing to it? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
Also, do ya know if the Sept issue has hit news stands yet?

I read it from time to time but the articles all seem like a lot of fluff. Too many adds not enough content.

I agree with the "lot of fluff" part. It's a slick-looking magazine but the content is just not there.

Too many pics of various shooters in cowboy garb. Never thought I would tire of that stuff, but if it ain't mixed with some reading which some of is actually how-to, it just isn't worthwhile.

SHOOT seems to aim at advertising (as do the other magazines) and photos of the CAS community. The latter seems to ensure its sales. Seems pretty short on useful commentary, but you can sure see yourself in colour in a national mag if you hit the right places.

More of a magazine of home pics for those who participate in those shoots. Pretty pics but more interesting if you knew the people. Kind of a vanity magazine.
