My 375 wore a Leupold 1.5-5X. It now wears a Leupold 2-7X for the same reason Jorge mentions.

My first .458 was a #1 Tropical I traded a pistol for. Only scope I had on hand was a solid performing Bushnell Sportview 4x. I thought "why not?". That thing held up and dialed in like a Zeiss! Maybe the rifle was heavy enough ( like a truck axle) not to bother it, but it was a surprise. Now, I never took it out in the rain/snow. It may have fogged up. I had a Tasco World Class 2.5x10 on a 30.06 that held zero, dialed in real sweet, yet fogged up on its first hunt. You "still" get what you pay for, ha.

I forgot to add that the Weaver 1x3 worked swell on every .458, 416 Rigby, 416 Remington, 416 Taylor I tried them on!

I put a VX5-HD 1-5x24 on mine and have been very satisfied with it.

Skeen, don't know how far into you KS you are, but I've got a CZ 550 375 H&H you're more than welcome to give a shot!

Thanks guys, seems like the Leupold option is favored! Will do some research.

You might also look at the Trijicon if you want the illuminated reticle? I've a 416 Rem Mag in the safe that will eventually need scoped. I might end up with a Trijicon on it.

Why not try a Leupold 1.5X5, light weight and very durable.
Its been the main glass on my 375 forever and I have never needed more.
