I am posting this because I live on Whidbey Island Washington, a large island in the PNW about 30 miles north of Seattle. On Sunday I got an email from a friend who lives on the island that went on and on about some "weather hound" whose camera had picked up what appears to be some strange activity in the sky over Whidbey. Now, you have to understand that there is a huge Naval Air Station at the top of the Island, and the sky is often filled with aircraft like Posideons and Growlers - in fact the jet jocks in the Growlers practice night time carrier landings by doing touch-n-go's from a little airfield just outside Coupeville. So ... the sights and sounds of aircraft is nothing new on the Island.

But ... according to what this weather guy claims to have photographed coming from Whidbey - this doesn't appear to be an aircraft:





From what is publicly known, there are no rocket operations of any kind in the region. However, the “closest thing to something like that would be the Ohio class nuclear ballistic missile submarines (SSBNs) based not too far away at Bangor Trident Base/Naval Submarine Base Bangor.”

Hmmm .....

Of course, the Navy denies everything.

Well...you don't suppose Mr Trump is wooing the Norks away from china because he knows where the next fight is going to be and he is isolating them whilst he can. I would bet London to a brick that there is going to be an awful lot of "unknown" occurrences popping up in the near future.

Once the Seattle bigwigs backtracked and canceled the business tax intended to house and feed the homeless invaders, they had to do something to clean up the problem. Someone told me that they contracted with the Navy to shoot the homeless into outer space - this was probably the first load going out.

I will ask the Nephew tonight when he and the family drive over for a few days vacation. He lives on Whidbey, is a retired Navy guy. In fact his Vap shop is right next to the back gate to the base, he makes a lot of $$ off the Navy guys with the habit and keeps up on the "scuttlebutt".

Agree, some sort of top secret stuff that military does all the time. Communications, spy satellite, who knows. Probably some of the Star Wars inspired technology that's still classified.
